How I Can Help
One of my favorite authors, John Green, once described writing as “building a jigsaw puzzle as you’re trying to solve it.”
That’s how I feel about my work. Whether I’m writing, editing, or crafting strategy, I love weaving seemingly disparate thoughts and ideas into a coherent, compelling whole.

How I Work
I work on a per-project basis for the vast majority of my clients. The process goes something like this:
Initial Contact
You contact me about your project and we set up a free 30-minute consultation call.
Consultation
During the call, I take notes and ask questions about the parameters of your project. Please have some basic information ready to share, such as deliverable deadlines, scope details (e.g., one magazine profile, 12 stakeholder interviews, etc.), and estimated budget.
Proposal
Following the call, I put together a proposal for your project. You review the proposal, then accept or decline it. We move forward accordingly.
In limited cases, I work under a retainer agreement. Please mention in our consultation call if you’re interested in pursuing a retainer agreement.
